Stand up for the right to a free internet!

The EU is rolling out a system for age verification on the internet on a broad scale. As usual, the official justification is laudable. Namely, to protect children and young people first and foremost, since not even politicians, bureaucrats and others who consider themselves to know better than us ordinary citizens are so out of touch that they would openly state the real purpose: more control and power over our digital lives. The latest proposal on the table is to ban VPN services, as these can be used to circumvent age verification.
